Ninja-like DW Spellbreaker hype!
Edit: Moderately off-topic:
Can someone in the know (Shalie, Devs, or otherwise) explain the difference between these two affixes as far as obtaining them in-game?

Iâve been racking my brain trying to craft the higher-tier /of Vitality affix (and, on that note, can /of Vitality not craft anything higher than its level 26 roll? It has a level 38 roll, but at level 40 Iâve been crafting nothing but 26s (sample size: 20ish)) and am curious as to whether the affix actually exists or is a bug in the extraction of the game files.
The difference between the two of Vitality affixes is the slot they appear on. The 422 health version appears on armor and two handed weapons, the 282 version on accessories and one handed weapons.
They both appear on boots, which is weird
No idea why the higher level affix doesnât appear for you.
What boots?
Has anybody noticed the rather âinterestingâ values onEye of the Storm and Primal Instinct?
(I know this could mean a lot of things, but I find it hard not to get excited by this kind of stuff.)
HMMMM interesting!
yes good catch dondarm
so we are waiting for a lightning summoner ?
6 lightning swarmling? Oo yess thats right up my alley
How do I find out which affix can show up on which item ?
The affixes are grouped in items\lootaffixes\prefix\prefixtables and items\lootaffixes\suffix\suffixtables, but how do I connect these to the specific items ?
Iâm looking for where/why it shows up, havenât found anything yet.
Probably just stuff left over from testing. The stats on the purple relics are likely going to change a lot before theyâre released anyway.
Look at one of the tdyn_* loottables (/item/loottables/gearfeet/tdyn_feet_a01), those have a list of possible items and a list of possible affixes that can be combined.
Yes, that was the missing piece
is there any information on the faction gear/augments offered by kymonâs chosen/order of deathâs vigil? having to grind alts past friendly to check before deciding what to do with my main is kind of taxing
Thanks for managing the equipment database! This definitely helps the game play a lot. Since this thread is quite long, I didnât follow up to all post. I wonder if all equipmentâ stat(s) have been updated to b25? Do all prefixes and affixes apply to all types (head, chest, foot, and etc) of common, magic, rare, and MI equipment? If not, how can I find out from the graceful dusk item database?
The database is updated to B25, but it does not include faction equipment (save for Augments).
Some affixes are restricted to head, feet, shields, daggers/scepters, and foci I believe. You kind of just have to get to know all the affixes on your own, thoughâŚChronomancerâs, for instance, can only be found on shields. M.I. equipment of a particular item type can have all affixes that regular items of that type can have (i.e., any M.I. shield [Wardenâs Bulwark] could have the Chronomancerâs prefix, for instance (and in fact I do have a Chronomancerâs Wardenâs Bulwark)).
mostly by searching by name
and checking which affix you want on your item and type that in the search box (with all the items checked in the category overview)
example if i want to know in which items the affix: consecrated, i type that in in the searchbox and i can see that they only affect the gear: head, chest, feet, hand, pants, medal, rings, amulet, shoulders, waist and shield.
but when I search for: bestial rage, i can see they will only appear on weapons
hope this helps?
Thanks for the explanation! They are very helpful!
I am considering using the Menhirâs Touch gauntlets on one of my characters. Since the tooltip gives no mechanics for the skill it grants I looked it up on this database/website (which is excellent btw, many thanks for creating and maintaining this!) I was wondering if the below description (cut and pasted from the Graceful Dusk entry) is accurate? 3%? If so it seems quite weak for itâs level.
Grants Skill: Menhirâs Touch (Level 1)
The devout of Menhir find their faith to be their most formidable shield in times of grave danger.
+100 Health Regenerated per second
300 Health Restored
3% Health Restored
3 Second Duration
12 Meter Radius
5 Seconds Skill Recharge
10% Chance on attacking (target self).
The devil is in the details.
Yes, 3% doesnât seem like too much at all, but consider the other stats. It also restores 300 health (which on a 4k health character [which is average for max level] is roughly 1/13 or 7.5% health). It addition to this flat buff, you also gain +100 flat hp regen per second for three seconds; this stacks on top of any other flat hp regen you have (from Physique, for instance) and is affected by all % health regen effects. This means you can get ~10.5% of your health (on average) along with the potential for another 10% or more over three seconds dependent on your other stats.
Considering this skill only has a 5 second recharge and has a massive 10% chance to proc (many item procs only have 5%, which is decent; 2.5%-3% is where things are a little too low), it is actually a very powerful defensive skill.
Damn it Shalie! update it already :rolleyes:
