Experiencing really bad game performance - crashed

Hi Devs.
First off, amazing game, with a really good blend of harder gameplay but still keeping it fun!

I wanted to report this, since i see a lot of reports of the game / gameplay itself having issues.

I played the game first time, right when i bought it, and one time after that, it did run a bit slow when i pressed hotkeys to open specific management windows, but the overall experience still outshined this by far.

Today i started the game up, wanted to start a new game, since you learn for every start you take, but this time i had a lot of small spikes and funny freezes, and then 10 minutes in the game, my firewood chopper got hunted down by a wolf, so i went to press P to assign a new laborer to this task, but everything froze, i tried to click the X to exit the windows, but the game just highlighted the X and then kept staying frozen, but with some kind of weird slowmo background action.
After 20-30 seconds the window at last closed, and the game did go right back to normal performance. I tried this a few times, and it looked like the overall performance got a bit worse everytime i pressed P and it froze, but came back.
At last, i opened the panel with “P” again, click a few times on the X to close it, and the gamne crashed instantly.
Opened up the game again, thinking that something maybe went wrong when i opened it last time, but the problem persisted. I tried a few different panels, at some acted out, some did not, the “P” panel is the only one that’s temporarily freezing everything.

I run Windows 10 - 19043 (downgraded because of other problems)
Motherboard - Asus Prime X570-P
Processor - AMD Ryzen 5900X 12 Core
Graphicscard - Asus TUF 3090
RAM - 32 GB Gskill TridentZ 3600 hrz
SSD - Corsair Force MP600 Pro

Using Samsung odyssey 49" screen
Resolution - 5120x1440
I have scaled up the UI in the game, to make it more handy.

If you crashed, it is probably generating a Crash Log. These can be found in:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp

This folder may be set to hidden by default in your folder options, so make sure to enable hidden items. Inside this directory, you will find a folder called Crash_Date_Bunch of Numbers (ex. Crash_2022-08-02_171459771.

Could you please send this to [email protected]?

Hi Zantai.

I would love to, but that folder dosen’t exist in my temp folder - when the game froze after trying to close the management window with “P” - i did press “P” some times, got a bit frustrated, and did hit the windows key, to try and trigger a response from the game.
The cursor then started spinning, and it chrashed down, the game right out closed in an instant.

Maybe that’s why it did not see this as an actual crash?

I will try and see if i get a file, if i can even get to play :stuck_out_tongue: if i get one, i’ll send it right away

Ah in that case the game may have been thinking and you forced it closed, haha.
