Hello, i sold my previous account to my friend and now he shared me Grim dawn + Crucible on my new account , so my question is, can i buy Ashes of Malmouth Expansion and is the expansion applying over shared game, is there any problem if i proceed like this ? Can i play the game normally when its shared?

No idea, does Steam let you buy it or does it give you some warning that you need the base game ?
Worst case you can always try, i.e. buy it, see it it works and if not, refund.
Now i saw, that requires ownership of the game to purchase the expansion, so i will buy it again i guess
It’s actually better to have your own game, tbh. My brother shared GD with me before AoM, and it was not great because only one could play the game (on steam), so the first day AoM came out I just bought it and didn’t care about my brother’s game anymore. Works super well, if you ask me.
