Fantasy Elements?

I know this isn’t a fantasy game, but it would be cool if say the gold mines/area was guarded by a dragon you had to kill to access the gold. Or you got invaded by monsters of some sort and not just raiders. Maybe the apothecary hut can make love potions (from special harvested herbs) that grant a birth rate bonus or something. The possibilities are endless!

I am not a developer of this game, and I am not part of the company’s staff, so I don’t know what ideas they have about it, but, seeing the story of the game’s introduction etc… Yes, it is a game set in a medieval times, but not necessarily fantasy. In my opinion, as the game is focused now, they would have to change too much, including the introductory story, to add fantasy elements.

I feel like they could add some similar ‘systems’ to what was suggested here, without having to go the fantasy rout per say. I think it would be cool to have some deep mines or other resources on the map specifically guarded by bandit camps, or bear dens etc. Just some other ‘threats’ out there on the map other than random placed wolf dens would be cool.

I disagree with this.

As you said it’s not a fantasy game so why try to hybrid it into one?

This is a better solution to a hybrid fantasy game.

No, it’s a game that uses colonial/medieval themes, but it’s a fantasy world that’s left open to your imagination to fill in its history.
