If you’ve already played the playtest before then you don’t need the code again. Just choose the playtest branch in the Betas section. Right click on the game in your library, go down to Properties and over to Betas.
nothing showing under betas. RE INSTALLED game. Beta acess code invalid. Guess I’ll just have to wait.
Make sure you don’t include any spaces in the code when you enter it.

If you’ve already playtested the game the code isn’t needed, just switch via the drop down in that window.
If you haven’t playtested then yes, the code is needed and it’s valid.

Where would one find the latest playtest patch notes?
i actually really liked the speed of the knowledge gain, especially if you get the scholars first. it forces you to prioritize. If i didn’t have enough population for the next building goal, then i would get something that helps other resources, like speed in gathering food, spread less disease, fish replenishment. it helped me prevent the issues i had with the previous versions of i tried to do everything at once and had no population to do the work, or no food for the population.
