I can’t say I disagree because I don’t know the details, but ranged purifiers already have their sets: Ulzuin with Fire Strike support and Luminari set with WPS support. I’m not saying it’s wrong to make another one as Dagallon guns and the whole fire/lightning dw with WoP support is great (this is how I level all my Inquisitors, I love WoP until lvl 60) and purifiers are pretty popular in general. But Mortars have nothing except an exotic green, a conduit, a caster gun and will get a helmet with, according to Zantai, exact same stats as now Dagallon helmet.
Back to Dagallon, what it needs as an autoattack is phys res. So that it doesn’t have to depend on sick greens like Log’s shoulders and Stoneplate Grieves and could take 2pc Ulzuin for example. Or maybe +1s to Blast Shield uptime.
Unless Crate is planning to make Dagallon the new N&O of ranged. THAT would be interesting.
