Slow because in terms of damage it sadly is still lacking & the skill rotation on valguurs (as cabalist) isnt there.
SR runs take alot of time and the ravager kill was very slow as well. (easily 4mins+ FYI)
I would like to suggest giving sigil the BWC treatment as in a buff to the tickrate & a little flat -cdr to them & also siphon souls on valguur to make the overall gameplay & performance feel better thx to a smoother rotation.
Valguur could also use a little % oa bonus imo cuz without some aggressive & of attack affixes the overall oa on it is lacking.
around 2 minutes for a vit caster imo.
seeing that they arent meant to be huge dmg dealers but rather survival tanks.
if we compare this to “good” killer builds that is still well over twice the amount of time needed for a down.
main skills are sigils and siphon accompanied by ravenous earth. sigil has 2.3 sec cd, re has 2.3 sec cd, siphon has 3.8 sec cd. Cooldowns are too long, oa, da is unsolvable on valguur cabalist. That’s what i always stumbled upon when building this concept.
Well, as says in every patch discussion: “Please be considerate of others posters and, as usual, set reasonable expectations for what a build should be capable of (an indestructible vitality build probably shouldn’t be pushing sub 6 minutes in the Crucible, nor does a 5 minute build need buffs)”. So I doubt SoCs will receive any buffs, they fit their role completely as a support skill.
I think If I were to make this with more affordable / budget gear the toon would fall appart cuz of the lack of oa, cc & resi.
A build being tanky / sturdy is nice and all but if that sturdiness is paired with a snails speed & clunckiness thx to a bad rotation too & awfull CC if budget… ehhhhhh I think in that case it needs some “help”.
It’s also funny how there are builds that are deemed “fine” even tho they facetank / sustain just as well if not even better then “immortal vit. casters” while even killing him in less than 50% of the time this one needs.
Superbosses are not and never will be a metric by which we tune the game, with the exception of egregious cases of a build deleting a superboss while still being exceptional in other content (which has not been a concern in many years).
Gotcha on the super bosses.
However, a build being noticeably slower than others while also being rather cluncky to play sure is something that’s worth being looked into?

It’s true sadly. Valguur cabalist falls way behind other archetypes because of the long cooldowns and sigils having weak damage. Increasing their damage, tic rate and maybe radius too while decreasing the CD should help. And please some OA and DA somewhere…
