- Annihilation-
Now, I won’t say that the skill needs a buff. Not at all
This is more about the relic itself
When you look at Fire based Demo builds, they either use Ulzuin’s Pyroclasm or use Korvaak’s Deception. As both offer better stats and a much better granted skill than Annihilation
Solution -
My solution is simple - improve the stats on the relic itself.
It already has nice flat damage already, so all you need to do is add the following:-
- 6-7% total speed making it useful for auto-attackers or % weapon damage casters
-5-6% Crit Damage bonus
-8-10% Reduced Energy Cost
This might not make the relic BiS on builds, and I’m fine with that but atleast it’d make the relic more appealing.
Comparisons with other class relics-
Look at other classes. For Arcanist, Eternity and Haunt are BiS in most cases yet Iskandra Relic and Agirivix’s Malice provide really nice bonuses and are solid options for one to consider and both can be used in builds. Then there’s Soldier, Oleron is used on almost all builds but Doom and Menhir aren’t bad either.
My point is despite classes having BiS relics the other relics designed for them are used quite a bit for various reasons. So buffing stats on Annihilation might make it usable on more Demolitionist builds

This item seems to be tailor made for Cold Necromancer builds. Give it a skill mod that adds RR to Ill Omen.
And give it +skills for Decomposition (modifier of Drain Essence). Remove the + skills to ABB, one handed melee ABB doesn’t make any sense that.
I won’t recommend adding +skills for Bone Harvest as we have a legendary scepter doing that
This way you’ll add support for Cold Necromancers and solve itemization issues for Gravechill

Glad you guys buffed Pierce Grenado through the skill mod and Bladetwister changes. But…it’s not enough, well I can live with an exotic build having slow kill times so the problem pertains to trash clearing more than boss kill speed
When compared to other damage types Pierce has the lowest AoE devotions and procs
Now conversion might solve this but in this case it can’t as a lot of the slots for Proc items are taken up by conversion equipment. Devotion wise I could replicate Beronath devotion route easily and that’d solve everything. But it won’t really do anything to build diversity
Solution -
So, the buff I suggest is less related to single target and more related to AoE
Increasing area of impact of Grenado might not cut it, so adding skill mods to boost Pierce damage on Canister bomb and some plus skills to Canister Bomb might solve this problem. And give Canister Bomb as reduced CD skill mod
The buffs I suggest won’t make this item OP at all but will add to build diversity as it opens up possibility of Pierce Casters
