I am ever so slightly disappointed in the change from Internal Trauma to Bleeding for Briarthorn’s Ground Slam.
Currently building a Druid who was able to convert that Internal Trauma into elemental DoTs with IEE but now with it being set to bleeding, I am unable to get that extra elemental DoT.
Really not a major complaint, just wanted to put my frowny face on the forum.

Do you notice the difference in practice? In my experience so far I’ve found that the pass-through more than made up for it.
I mean, you can’t really see the change anyway. You only see it on paper, and bleeding has the least defense in monsters, so 9/10 times you’ll notice either the same or higher damage. Or more like, you’d notice if DoT numbers appeared on screen when used by pets.
I’d say the IT -> bleed is a buff, even a huge one as you can even go slightly more for bleeding devotions for pets and feel no difference at all. And you can make effective bleeding builds now.
Well, it’s certainly going to be a loss in damage, as I have much more elemental damage bonuses for my pets compared to bleeding but I wouldn’t be able to quantify it since I didn’t check pet DPS in Grim Internals.
Either way, I’m only minorly disappointed, and if it helps some sort of weird bleed pet build, I’m cool with it I guess.
Not a lot of Druid summoner builds out there and I suppose I just lamented that little bit of damage loss.
i’m not sure if shaman pets are suited for elemental pet builds… occultist and necro pets have more affinity to elemental attacks than shaman pets. but what do i know. maybe the -% elemental rr from shaman’s cyclone can compensate with shaman pets’ weaker elemental affinity.
There are plenty of items that convert pet physical to Elemental. Elemental shaman pets are awesome.
Thankfully, FG added a bit of support for Druid summoners. We got a few new items to play with.

Is the dmg loss post patch significant for elemental pet druids? If it is u should feedback and request for a buff.
