Hi !
When I was playing my first game (0.7.6), my village was still small when I got two notifications : first, a blizzard was approaching and second, a building was on fire. It was the first time so I looked at it closely.
I saw every one rushing to the dwell with their buckets and running to the cellar to put out the fire.
When suddenly the blizzard was upon them so they let their bucket on the ground and quickly went gathering some wood for the heating ! Letting the cellar burning to the ground isn’t probably the best idea to survive the whole winter I was wondering if the blizzard had an effect onto the fire. Well, no, absolutely not. The cellar kept burning and it was hilarious as one people went casually through the fire to gather some food. He came out with its food (I guess he likes it when it tastes smokey !) and went peacefully back home. ( a few seconds sooner, he was probably running with his bucket but he had forgotten !
) No other building near the cellar went on fire even though the blizzard blowed will all its strength…
Anyway, it was such a nonsense that it was funny to watch but it broke the magic : I wasn’t playing a city builder anymore but a kind of dumb computer game if you see what I mean.

Wait until there’s an army on your wall when a fir breaks out on the other side of town and watch in horror as your guards all stop firing on the invaders to help (even though the rest of the town will have the fire put out before they’re halfway there)…

I get buildings needing repair with lists of needed supplies right when winter starts, sometimes with blizzards. Seems almost like such timing is programmed. I get very few buildings needing repair when there is better weather.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game where the ‘sandlot mode’ needs multiple cemeteries.
Reminds me of the Monty Python ‘Spam’ sketch.
