If they didn’t stop the timer, you could wait till all your circuit breakers reset with 0 penalty.
No, get ejected to the reward room, without the bonus chest and without the “checkpoint” keystone.
But yeah I guess it would make sense, the time you need to kill bosses in higher tiers would be enough to deter from grinding that high.
Shard 75. Went from 65 - 75. Let myself get killed on shard 74
Btw, the number and rarity of chests stayed the same when I went for round two from 75 - 76 without dying, but the number of legendaries decreased o_0
Grava still having his nullification in SR is the worst boss design I’ve ever seen in this game. It’s impossible to see the orb in the clusterfuck fireworks show that is fighting 3-4 bosses at the same time. I’ve also loaded in just to instantly get hit by the ball and die to everything else beating on me. In shards with 5-6 bosses, you’re not getting those buffs back, period.
After practicing, I find Grava is the least of my problems on most characters. He can be annoying from time to time but I got used to watching for his animation. I of course would rather his null be replaced with a crippling debuff instead or something but eh.
I’ve got more problems with arcane heroes who get blocked by other mobs so you don’t kill it first. Grava’s null is well telegraphed.
Late for the thread but I just wanna say that - after a lifetime of busting crucible - I love the randomness of SR.
I only wish the boss stage of each Shard was a little bigger. Still feels a little crucibly…
There is the penalty of a slower clear time by waiting for circuit breaker resets. Clear speed will always matter
That’s true… So the only change they could make is spawning the portal near the player. Stopping the time could push players to wait until their cooldowns reset.
Edit: I don’t know how far that is possible, but maybe the timers for cooldowns and procs could be paused whenever the portal opens. Given the nature of the Shattering Realm, time could be unstable (lore justification). That wouldn’t be the best way, but given the fact that spawning the portal next to the player is not possible, this could stop the rush towards it.
