Recently been on a roll when it comes to making builds, again.
This Obsidian Tremor Deceiver was one of these builds and while playing I noticed some issues with the skill in question:
In the 1st picture we can see the tremors range in it’s full glory! ![]()
In the 2nd picture the issue should be fairly obvious to spot.
The skill has BIG problems with upwards terrain resulting in the loss of over 2/3 of it’s total range! ![]()
Furthermore in the area bellow (circled in red) it felt like the damage was “better” or am I trippin’ here?!
In the blue area (up close, facetank range) the dmg. felt worse even tho all 3 spikes should hit as well & green area should be self explanatory.
Please let me know if you happen to know something about this / noticed something similar!
Maybe this has/had something to do with the terrain too?
I don’t know… take this one with a grain of salt.
With the technical things out off the way I would also like to address the overall damage of the Obsidian Tremor skill.
It barely felt okay’ish for how heavily invested in flat chaos damage this character is + it even is spirit dumped on top of that.
A few things came to mind on how the skill could be improved:
(just ONE of the suggestions listed bellow & NOT all at once!)
- Simply buff it’s mediocre 60% weapon damage to ~70, maybe 80%
- Add a “XX% reduced targets resistances for X seconds” modifier to either the skill itself or the weapon similar to how the “of the abyss” suffix does it.
(example weapon with the suffix!)
- Greatly increase the flat dmg. numbers & crit. dmg. % on the skill.
- More chaos RR % to CoF on the weapon.
That’s about it for now I think.
If you have anything to add ot further suggestions please add them! ![]()
Cheers, Mergo!
