Mad Queen Kill Out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9x7ZhKJW_Cw (NO other steroids like beast tincture) NO pet dies.
Killed ravager in ultimate(I kind of hacked him actually, I hit him hard and run away to the side, and I hit back after regroup, repeat this for about 20 minutes)
Killed mog in ultimate( a specialized build and use voidmancer belt to overcap my pet lighting res, just hit and run, mog is slow)
Farmed lokarr like a boss
Melt the new ancient grove boss like a boss
Killed mad queen really fast—-one skele death like 5 seconds i’ll be more rigorous and try to capture it on camera(slow mac’s fault)
Side note: ravager runs really fast ,like really fast and can twoshot kill ur cabalist
Even if u maxcup ur bleed res by 60(I fight ravager of flesh and souls, I killed those cannibals in veteran) So it’s probably impossible now to facetank him cuz he always try to aggro ur face—-when he comes for u——run!
Mog on the other hand——slow and try to kill ur pets——keep distances though, his stun is quite lethal.
Mog can’t kill ur pets if u up lighting res , ravager on the other hand melt ur fiend in 5 seconds.
Credits to Dashiv for his pioneering work on pet build.
New ideas on top of dashiv’s work: 1 burst damage is really important. U can hit for like 10k without burst buff but 60k each skele with buff.(it’s actually much better to burst big threats down than having a better dps on paper with no burst)
2 skill points is important for a pet build I have like +5 to all skills.
3 health and res for skeletons is important. But wait u sacrifice offense right?——-that’s where the burst come to the table. I use time dilation to help me reach that burst state more often.
1 beastcaller’s cowl
2 hungering void
3witching hour
4call of the grave
5curse of frailty triggers shepherd’s call
Smash those buttoms togather
1 skele health 35k, res—-capped except for pierce(69%) , elemental and aether chaos overcapped. They just don’t die that easily any more.
2hell hound and blight fiend have big health pool too.
3to be a good cabalist—- u must know how to run around boss and how to find landing spots in chaotic environments.
Give this parrot some love everyone!
Feel free to ask anything and comment!
Happy to see skeletons can become tanky enough to kill Lokkar and enemies like him. I struggled with him on my cabalist when solo. Getting maxed res for yourself and pets is so hard though
Yeah, u need to pick up the Wolverine constellation, ur pets pierce res can actually reach 78 if u give up shepherd’s call.
I have enough damage so I give up the relic spot damage and choose mog’d Ardor and pick up a green pants with bleed res for pets
If ur skeles die easy enough, it’s very hard for u to actually do any damage and it’s so bad for ur survival cuz ur basically running and dodging in boss fight.
I didn’t this thread the first time through as it’s buried in the general discussion forum, but wanted to say great job on beating 150 Gladiator and the super-bosses. Using capped Bonds of Bysmiel and using your rings / amulet augments on pet resistances is definitely an approach not too many pet builds use.
I take it your general premise is use the gun + board until you’re ready to use Witching Hour proc, then you use that for burst damage and switch back to gun + board for protection? Is it annoying to constantly re-apply your Seal of Might auras after switching weapons?
For devotions, how do you feel about replacing Wretch and Hound with Sailor’s Guide + Jackal? You end up exchanging some Health and Armor for better Energy, Physical + secondary resistances, and little improvements to pet Speed. Have you tried to compare these devotion layouts before?
Well, just checked that you actually get less health and armor if you switch.
NO, i don’t switch weapons, those gun and shield are something i just try to experiment with for fun,yet nothing of the build really.
I’m really busy recently, i’ll try to play some other time and try to record some boss kills (and glad crucible) on camera so people have a better idea of how this build works.
BTW, the damage from the burst is insane too, i think i’ll make a more serious build guide later
A short video ------ i started recording my crucible run on wave 140-150, but fraps gives up after 30 seconds of recording.
I finished glad 150 again nontheless , here is a short video on how i play the summoner. (NO buff at all!)
I’ll try to capture it whole after i upgrade my PC, for now i still play it on my mac.
