Fire strike has flat damage and 120-125% while Cadence has 420% wepon damage and physical damage conferted to fire frommain skill and deadly momentum. Adding to that is that fact that Burn damage is multiplied heavily by Cadence %wp damage. Hellborne + 4c ulzuin+wyrmone gloves and the two burn nodes from torch instead of jackal does 80-85k burn damage on dummy while maxed explosive strike with Fires trike does 45K burn

I knew that Fire Strike is only a shadow of it’s former self, but Fire Cadence being more effective than Fire Strike is something new.
For one specific case 
Don’t worry Fire Strike is certainly more stylish than Cadence

I’ve been assessing that cadence DOT nonsense and it might turn out usable yet, with some polish
Highest numbers were with full Ulzuin set or 4 pieces with Hellborne. Wyrmbone handguards, Entropic coil, Pyroclasm mark. I’ve seen >80Ks but couldn’t reproduce them outright, though 75Ks are easy.
Justicar feels a lot safer with hp but also yields 55K ticks.
80K DOT on top of some direct is good single target damage. Not amazing but it should work. Ranged cadence performance against crowds is still terrible though, bwc or not.
Interesting. I have pretty much everything required but Ulzuin’s Shoulders. Should still work somewhat though. What’s your devotion setup?
Its similar to what I posted in this thread with chariot and torch. Though Rhowan’s crown is there its probably redundant with bwc, if bwc is to stay.
My gear setup is different. At 2960 OA/2155 DA And 12K HP because of MI’s. Build is actually viable.

Fabius takes ~40 sec…Shar zul more. Those two take more cause they are resistant.
Edit: Gonna try entropic coil too. Looks pretty. Do you have some stonehide boots? You could use legwraps then. Slows down Fabius, more OA,
Thats still some very uncommon items, much less common than Ulzuin set. Talking of simpler items, I put on golemborn and lifegiver signet on him, and managed to kill Fab in about a minute. It doesn’t feel like they made huge difference though and its not facetanking all the time anyway.
Those rings and a purging of readiness are the onese i carry over to many builds and help a lot indeed.
But regarding ulzuin rarity. Can you beleive that after well over 1000 hours of game play I had these rings but only recently Finally!!! got Ulzuin’s helm?:eek:
After looking through graceful dusk I thought there is no other gear with flat burning damage or burn procs this build could use. Most other items have burning retaliation or ring of flame like procs.
Actually there is one more item with flat burning damage yet, Kymon’s Infernal Dust. Its just 10/sec, but can be used on all jewellery slots and also boosts percentage % damage. It provides something like 10-15K extra dps
