First time Melee build. Axe and shield Tactition help

So I took one of my first melee build attempts after the expansion and finally decided to play it. It’s not the greatest build, but it was good enough to beat Gladiator for the first time. My DPS is only ~42K, which I’d like to help out. My OA is also struggling, but she’s a beast defensively.

Anyone have any ideas on how to improve this character? I’m hoping to make this my Crucible farmer. I need to get a better base of gear.

Oh, and do any of you know the name of any of the blitz/SS style item skills? I’d like to add an extra escape route.
