Flat Damage on Weapon clarification

In the game guide, we have the following line:

“If found on a weapon, the Flat Damage bonus applies only to that weapon.”

Now, this can be taken at least 2 ways.

A.) It could mean that only attacks directly from the weapon get it, and WD% procs don’t inherit it.

B.) It could be meant for dual-wielding to say it only applies to this weapon and not the second weapon equipped.

I’m most interested because of the Devotion Skill procs that include WD%. All the flat bonuses seem to be inherited onto these, but maybe not the weapon one based on which way that quoted phrase is interpreted.

Can someone clarify this for me? Thanks!

Procs description states whether its based on main hand weapon damage or mainhand & off hand weapon damage. I guess its pretty straight forward.

I am aware of that. However, that has nothing to do with whether or not the bonus Flat Damage listed on a weapon is pulled with the WD%.

The phrase I quoted is ambiguous and unclear. If it means A, the flat damage isn’t pulled. If it means B, it is pulled in.

Obviously, in either case, the WD% is based on the conditions you noted.

Oh sorry. My bad. Not fully awake when I read your post.
It seems B is correct since the flat damage bonus is part of the weapon’s properties. Same goes to other modifiers like lifesteal, procs go off, lifestolen.
