Long-time player, FoA on PC, Ultimate, level 100 character and have Honorable with Kurn recently. May be spoilers in my report.
I have the quest “Ascend the Roof of the World” as Fangs of Asterkarn quest, but the glowing red balls won’t let me past says “Dark ritual sustained by the void bars the way”
I don’t see any indicator for what I’m supposed to do which has me a bit worried that I already did all I was supposed to do and am now quest-locked in a weird way as I tend to do. I talked to the lady next to the Kurn leader and did the 3 things and talked to the 3 people. Are those glowing circles supposed to go away or am I missing something?
I did notice that I have several Asterkarn quests still open - maybe one is locking me, going to try to accomplish some of them, but not sure which ones may impact this:
- Hounds of C’Thon
- Great White Wolf
- Feathers of a Bird
- Black Heart
- Righting Wrongs
- The Night Hunt
- Cleanse the Land
- DIrge of Night
Maybe I’m just missing something, but would definitely appreciate some UI clue about what is supposed to happen as I thought I did all the Tears multiple times now and got all the bosses in relation to that including the one-shot bosses that you can’t easily portal back to (yes that is annoying to me and it is a design choice). Anyhow, long-time player, spent a bit of time in POE2, Diablo4 and got stuck in enough weird situations like this I’m not sure if this is a bug or just me missing something. For now, wandering Asterkarn and unsure. I’ve been to the Drangul and nothing to do there, found Scorv, etc. but can’t get to the last 6 rift gates, and honestly have no idea what I’m supposed to do next other than wander and map more hoping that I’ve missed something and it’s not a bug. I’m at the Edge of Sanity (sorry for the pun). Thanks for any feedback.
