For your first issue, something is blocking the game’s access to its options file.
This means the game cannot access C:\Users\your-username\Documents\my games\Grim Dawn\Settings\options.txt
The file is either marked read-only, or something else is blocking access to it. Sometimes changing the read-only setting or deleting the file so it is regenerated is enough. Other times you need to find the software that’s causing the issue (OneDrive, Win Defender and antivirus are common ones).
