I suppose a lot of people have a problem with the pick up mechanics of rations but is no big deal for me. The thing I would like to see is is that rations and meals give also energy. Even though pots give a nice big chunk of energy, the cool down is long and early on in leveling is too much, and too infrequent. What I was thinking is that rations and such either give some extra energy regen for decent amount of time (energy boost) or give a small chunk of energy[10%+100-150-ish] (refreshing). I think this would help smooth the leveling for some builds as well curb the angst of picking rations at full health. During mid game it would affect some issues some builds may run into if they haven’t smoothed their energy regen or leech just yet. End-game it would still be nice to top off every once in a while. Another note, this could also encourage builds with deep energy pools and high energy drain builds much like my battle mage.
