Hidden areas are hidden areas. Roads that can be repaired are shown, those that can’t will never be repairable. If you’re thinking of the bridge at Twin Falls that’s not repairable due to changes made in that area very early on in the game’s development. Plus it would give you a riftgate far too close to a farmable boss.

I’ve never really understood the “cannot repair twin falls due to farmable boss being too close” reason. Which boss would people even farm there and why? Bloodfeast? Cuz of Ancient Hearts? Just make the bridge cost a lot (more than BoC bridge) and maybe lower the droprate of the boss a tiny bit and it should be ok. I think it would be thematically awesome, if you are able to repair the bridge after you reached homestead.

At the moment, no, nothing is planned for other areas of the map since FG is likely to be the last expansion for the game. The Forgotten Gods map is somewhere else in the world far away from the Erulan empire. Whether any other areas of the map would figure in a future GD2 we’ll just have to wait and see.

They will not. Even though, they will not admit it but releasing it earlier along side POE synthesis will have some impact to the game. The most wise course of action if I were them is to make use of all time since there is no publisher pressure anyway and release on last week of March when all is tested and polished. No promises broken and still within Q1 timeframe.
