I was just curious if the forum background is early concept art for FF and if it’s available anywhere as say a wallpaper. It’s very pretty.
If it is a concept art it’s neat to see how things changed - boats, little gatehouses with, oh my, bridges! And the idea of a very centralized town walled off with a little outlying hamlet is cute.
It was early concept art, yes. Sadly it doesn’t seem to be available. It was something that Medierra posted way back in 2016 in a now deleted forum thread.
It’s not available on Media – Farthest Frontier, but if you right-click the background, you can open it on a new tab and / or save it locally.
Along this same vein, if you scroll through some of the images in General Discussion > Settlement Showcase, there’s a lot of images that can be right-clicked/saved and used as wallpaper. I love how creative the community is and that they’re willing to share their images/ideas.
As a worlds’ creator, I absolutely LOVE how Crate has handled all their images and the attention to those little details that come along with that.
