Forum is a bit tricky to maneuver

So I just bought this game on the steam sales recently, so I am not very experienced to these forums, but I am having a hard time finding threads. Like in the guide section for example, wouldn’t it make more sense to have each classes separated into different threads, then everyone can post guides in that thread? For Example, one thread named Templar, then all templar related guides could go into there? Instead of everything being in the same tab?

It just makes everything look so chaotic and makes it hard to find guides for a specific class.

Like I decied to start as a Shaman, and tried to find some shaman guides or Warder guides as I think I want to go in that direction, but under Guides and Tutorials I can’t find anything even recembling any specific class guides, and in the builds section things are just a bit too complicated, it looks more endgame related.

There is a build compendium in the build section.

Yes I found that, but most of the builds are not very beginner friendly, and the build listed under the begginer guides are very thin, not many classes covered.

I would prefer if there were a separate area for experienced players posting there multiple level 100 “advanced” builds and for questions about skills and gear 1-100. That’s 1-100 as opposed to level 100 finished build. It’s not a bad thing that there are no so many players who are interested enough in the game to make end game builds. That’s a new thing compared to Titan Quest where there were end game builds but probably at most 10% of the ones we have now. I like that there are so many interested builders. However it is hard to find level 1-100 information. I agree.

It’s very nice that so many people take their time to write guides, I agree. It’s alot of different guides out there, but yes, it is alot of endgame related guides. This game is alot more difficult compared to Diablo 3 (where I came from) but some some more lvl 1-100 or just lvl 1-50 would be nice to have for a new player. I did find a Elementalist guide written by Stupid Dragon which was very beginner friendly written, not the classes I was looking for originally, but guess I gotta adapt to what I can find :stuck_out_tongue:

The real reason why there aren’t as many beginner builds as people might want is because trial and error isn’t very punishing in this game. Respecs are cheap and you can respec everything except class choices. Also, some people might look for guides on classes that are weak (i.e. warlock, defiler) and it’s just not realistic making a beginner guide on classes that aren’t beginner friendly.

Other games have detailed levellung guides on their builds because you have to play that build from start to finish. Here, you could, but it’s not necessary. Another forum I can recall which is like this was the borderlands 2 forum. Levelling guides are basically non-existent in there (the last time I checked) because respecs are too easy.
