Background
I have one villager, a laborer, visually stuck between the gaps of a double stone wall. However, this laborer is still able to work as a laborer, except with zero physical traveling time. I do not know how this villager got there; I made sure that when building the double wall, no villagers would be trapped. Here is a video:
At 0.40, the laborer seeks tools and immediately picks one up with zero travel time.
At 0:57 that after the laborer mines three stone (while not being physically at the location of the stone), they immediately stockpile the stone. You can see the stone counter go from 5621 to 5624, which is most likely the stone deposited from this laborer.
There’s a few more instances of this zero travel time in the video as well, such as picking up meat at the end of the video.
This is a bug because the intended game mechanic is to have to travel to the locations to perform the actual task. Moreover, it should be impossible to walk through walls.
Other information
- My map is large alpine valleys.
- Previously I also saw a few other villagers (farmer, nightsoil collector) appear within these walls for no reason after the double wall was built; there should be no possible way for them to enter. After I let them out they then physically went to their proper locations to work (and not instantaneously with zero travel time). Not sure if that information is helpful or not.
