Help?

Since discovered that “windows has stopped using my graphics card “error 43”. Evga gtx 560ti. Have uninstalled device to reinstall, attempted to update drivers. Is my graphics card dead? Guess I’m with out a computer for a lon while cause I’ll be damned to spend 600 on a decent card when you can buy a whole new boxed computer with a 1060 for 849.

Yep, I’d have to agree with you. If my card ever dies, the only way I’ll get back into gaming is by playing on an older card I have laying around, I’m not gonna buy into the current broken graphics card market.

As for your question… well a quick google search shows this:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/861231/geforce-drivers/nvidia-amp-windows-10-how-i-solved-the-code-43-error-/

maybe it will help?

Fixed, live chat with nvidia, was a corrupt driver file. Had to uninstall and clean then reinstall from the begging.

Sadly my old card laying around is a GT 520, not sure that would even play Grim Dawn. My 560 is set on low medium or off to keep it from going into turbo fan over heat mode.

Nice to see it wasn’t the card dying at any rate.

Of note: some months back I upgraded my GTX 760 to GTX 960 for a couple hundred bucks, give or take. Dunno how much it was affected by the current market “issues” but I felt it was worth it at any rate.

I wouldn’t spend 600 either. Maybe once I’m rich.
