Hey all, I just figured this out last week and figured I would post it. I did post it on steam forums but I don’t know how many people saw it.
I noticed this game had a weird stuttering issue with textures… I completely rectified this issue by changing the games cpu priority to real time… This can be done through the windows task manager under the priority option… I haven’t had any stability issues with this, and the game is running flawless now, more like it should be in my opinion.
anyways, just a little tip there for anyone who wants to try it out… I can now run shadows on and the game looks fantastic and runs smooth as silk…
I also tested the same thing out in diablo 3 but I never had any texture-stuttering issue in d3 so I didn’t notice any improvement other than I can now play d3 with full settings on max with zero lag whereas before I could not run with shadows on…
Hopefully this will help some people, I noticed a lot of posts about this game stuttering while looting… That might even help those people out… I could see this helping bigtime with people playing on laptops…
and just in case no one knows what I am talking about:
In win7
Right click your task bar, click start task manager.
Click on processes tab
Find Grimdawn.exe32bit
right click it then select priority then change to real time.
