Gd defiler deleted my character and changed it to female, be careful when using it.
to use it exit grim dawn, change what you want, press save, then log back in.
All the progress wasted, but rashalga is op with the red aurora so not a big loss.
Just make sure that you don’t have the character/skill screens open or the smuggler and you should be fine.
Never had any issues using GD Defiler and i’m using cloud saves as they were enabled by default and haven’t had any issues with them over my play time.
Any changes I’ve ever made have been while I’ve had the game closed to be certain nothing corrupts. From what I remember, trying to save any changes also prompts you with a notice that GD Defiler doesn’t have an automatic backup tool so when in doubt, just browse to your character files and quickly make a manual backup on your desktop somewhere.
