Getting Rid of Popups

I asked this question originally on steam forums but got banned for it.
So first I’d like to let Zantai know I wasn’t trying to be an ass, I didn’t even know he had autism lol.

Anyway, seems there are no setting to disable the various popups from things like achievements, quests, levelups, devotion, mob kills, i don’t even know what else. It’s a bit much and I’d like to remove them. Is there some mod already made to do this? And if not, can anyone point me in the direction of where I’d go to disable it?

Check out the modding guide and learn how to mod, once you figure it out, you might be able to remove the popups, no idea if it’s possible or not that’s not something that even remotely interested me.

Nobody in the office is autistic that I know of. That was not the point however and shouldn’t matter anyway.

The mechanic you are describing is hardcoded and cannot be disabled.

As Zantai said, you can disable tutorial tips in the options.

Via modding, you might be able wipe out all the subvalues in ‘achievements’ in records/ui/achievements/achievementgroup/achievementgroup_*.dbr. That should keep them from displaying…or it might crash your game when you get one. Otherwise editing the achievements in records/ui/achievements/achievementlist/ such that they can never unlock should suffice.

Wouldn’t apply to Steam achievements, though.

What about turning the monitor off? I’ve heard that reduces a lot of busy visuals.
