Give me back my FOOD!

Started up an old town, 5,400 pop on vanquisher, small map, to see if it ran better. It was running a good bit better but still slow. Then I noticed my food went from a healthy 225,000 units per year to 75,000 units! They began to starve, all got sick and 2,500 died. This is more than just nerfing, this is destroying the game. It wasn’t just the tier 2 forager nerf (only lost 20,000 food this way), it was all catagories.

Ditto, they need to stop all this silly nerfing, im hoping it all gets reversed :slightly_frowning_face:

As you said, the forager only reduces your food by 20,000 out of a total of 150,000. So this is a small percentage (~13%)

Assuming that the information you provided is correct, the problem is not the level 2 forager being nerfed but something else.

Check again, have you arranged enough farmers on the fields to ensure that the crops are harvested on time?

In addition, you need to ensure that you provide enough essential items for the villagers (firewood, leather jackets…) so that the villagers do not abandon their work just to return home to get 1 piece of firewood.

BTW: the level 2 forager being nerfed is completely the devs’s decision. If you want more food, build more fields, farms or plant more fruit trees.

Had similar issue with a new game - turned out to be (1) hunters needing tools to be productive; had to order and buy tools while spinning their production up… and then order a ton of meats. Then I noticed that the issue was that I had no preservist built. This was a new endeavor with no raiders or wild animals and occurred at about 500 residents. With minimal deaths and everyone happy they “eat away”
