I gather there might not be that many people playing from the GoG platform but I figure there is no harm in seeing if we can’t get together and share the wealth a little and the moderators were ok with me setting this going.

Im a GOG player and Im glad you posted this thread. Steam can rot in hell and I wont support them. I havent used GoGs communities yet so Im not sure how you trade items. I just got the game and left it at that.
But Ive been trying like crazy to get Mythical Beastcallers Items and I cant get ONE after building two Characters to level 100. I actually wanted to try the Ingaffars Combustion you have on my Purifier. Are repetitive drops ( or NEVER getting others) an issue for GoG players or do Steam players get the same problem?

Not sure myself, but we make a multiplayer game and trade in game as I understand it. The reason Steam/GoG players can’t trade is about who hosts the servers.
Don’t have any of the Mythical Beastcaller yet, but I’ll be happy to hold onto it for you of course, if you can do the same for the Rimetounge set please.
The Ignaffar relic would suit a Purifier, (EDIT, Bane recipe just dropped, need to post complaining more on the forums!) do you have one or two Mythical Signets of the Runefather (the RNG hates me on those, pure hate)?
Sometimes to me it feels like different things drop in campaign and crucible, and there are a few items that always seem to pop up for me…but I think it’s just me reading too much into it!
The game is exactly the same for both platforms, it’s just the RNG god messing with you as usual.
And if you think GD is bad, I’m still waiting for a pair of Batrachos Greaves to drop for me in Titan Quest - and that’s after 10 years of playing the game. :eek:
Hey there…Well, I have the Rimetounge chest armor, 1 Mythical Runefather signet ring, Mythical Mageguard leggards, and a Mythical Arcane Wastes offhand. SO. I tried launching ( hosting) a multiplayer game within Grim Dawn and selecting Internet from the options…and it seemed to have created a game. It may or may not work Idk. I read somewhere that GOG galaxy was needed for multiplayer. If you want to test to see if we can link up at a certain time we can decide on a game name and try to join in. You host or I host.
Whoah, that’s a ton of stuff. No idea what I can find to match that, but you’re welcome to the Relic and the Mythical Will of Bysmiel might suit your Conjurer till the set items turn up. And I’ll hold on to the Beastcallers if it drops for you.
Ok, yes, I tested both ways…You do need to download and install GOG galaxy, log in with your GOG credentials…and then go into the game itself and select multiplayer…host or join. Pretty easy and Im guessing this should work.
Yeah, I could use the Amulet as well. I’ll just give you all the items I listed. Im not going to stickle with you over anything here. Whats important is you keep an eye out for me and I’ll do the same for you. Finding a Gog player for trading is more important than who gets the better of a deal. SO, if you have time right now we can do an exchange. Let me know and I’ll create a game.
Nope, don’t think it’s my GoG galaxy client. When I go to join the Mp game it says I don’t have the right version. But it’s an AoM server I can see, and that I have.
And I just joined a different MP game without problems…weird. Can I try and make a server quick?
