So I finally got my very first Gollus’ Ring, and since I fail to see what the excitement is about, I will ask what it is I am missing. :o This gem can be worn at level 84 and needs only 347 spirit, so that’s easy, but it boasts
I am tempted to vendor it, but ask here first: am I missing something? Isn’t this supposed to be a rare shiny happy sought-after thing?
Not the Gollus Ring is the important thing, the affixes are.
Yeah, that is just a bad Gollus Ring. Gollus Rings are nice because they boast a nice chunk of health and health regen on the base items. Combine that with the right prefix/suffix combo and it can become beastly.
It looks to me like you pulled just about the worst set of affixs that can be pulled though, just the luck of the draw.
ah right, thanks. So more or less like beating him and getting no ring. I can just vendor it then, no?
I can’t get a Gollus ring drop to save my life. Over 36 chances so far and no drop. My friend plays once and gets a drop? Is this a bug? I need this darn thing for 2 characters.
Verify your game files via Steam and if that’s all good then sorry to say it’s just pure RNG.
Well the Prefix/Suffix “Incorruptible” & “of Readiness” respectively, was considered OP back in the day.
Still have the same ring to this day although hardly used.
Apparently in ultimate he should have a 35% chance to drop the ring.
Yeah that ring is really not that great anymore. 
I’ll gladly trade you for it though.
Just a bad roll I’m afraid. I use a General’s of Protection and I wouldn’t trade that for anything. As others have stated it comes down to the build and the pre/suffixes that benefit the build. That’ll likely be different with each build, so you farm him for the right ring. That said, he rarely drops them for me and I simply got lucky with the one I use.
