When teleporting in to for example a rift you threw down on top of enemies, there should be a small immunity period for you that ends as soon as you move/attack(this already exists in path of exile and the duration is 30 seconds.)
I find myself unable to work my way out of a scenario where I am teleporting back after dying or just going back on top of a lot of enemies.
Well you can always go back to the previous rift (they are quite frequent that it shouldn’t be too bad) and you shouldn’t use L as a “safe card”. At worst drop it ahead of time you can come in with all buff active anyway since you are raising in a safe zone.
Your fault for placing the rift there (none of the regular ones have enemies nearby)… I would not want that period because quite frankly I never needed it and it would only slow things down
