So it seems that the grazing of cows pretty much as no affect on fertility any more. I have had the pasture in the same place for close to 30 years and have seen such a small rise in fertility of the land that you can’t even be sure it actually did go up a shade.
Anyone else seeing this?
Not really, no.
I usually give the cows a field with only clover in it and after a 3 year period it’s usually above 75% fertility (starting from ~25%).
The number of cows grazing also affects the impact on fertility.
I will try the clover methods. As last night as I was playing, I made another barn and set the grazing and saw a much faster raise in fertility. The only difference I could see was the ones that weren’t doing much for fertility had a fodder quality of 60% and 66% and the one that raised faster was as 77%
I also realized a long time ago that clover helps fertility. Try to do so
yes clover does help, but I am looking for the cow help. So having clover for the cows might do that trick

So, my fertility is coming up, but it is taking a whole lot longer than 3 years. I have to plantings of clover each year and grazing.
Its coming up so slowly that I wonder if the cows are having any affect on it, or if it is purely just the clover.
