Hello and welcome! Cannot wait to play in multiplayer with my buddies!
Welcome; glad to see another Iron Lore dev onboard! This should get the game out the door even sooner…
Wow, you really are a programmer. You didn’t include the comma as part of the big number.
But welcome anyways! Glad to have you aboard.
Did he not? Or am I missing an in-joke?
Hello and welcome!
Precisely what I was thinking, but a new face on the dev team is always good news.
So welcome Westfaliah! I hope you enjoy working on Grim Dawn and hope to see you around on the forums!
Nice to meet you. Now get to work! J/K
Welcome and its good to have you on the Crate team.
Now please bring the us the greatest pvp/pve/multiplayer experience that anyone has ever seen in an arpg. Thanks
This is good news. Hopefully MP is sooner rather than later.
I don’t know if this has been decided yet, but what numbers are you planning on having for multiplayer? 4, 6, 8, or more? I’d also like to suggest that even if the game is only balanced for a certain number of people per game, if it is at all possible, allow more than that number to join, and then let the modding community make it more difficult based on that larger number of maximum players.
Can you make items drop for each party member ?
In Titan quest all party members have the same drop and i have to be extremely fast to get the legendary items or epic items.
Play only with friends then, because GD’s going to have the same system as Titan Quest when it comes to drops in MP. Playing with friends ensures not only a friendly atmosphere but also, you don’t have to worry about loot ninjas. In my experience, friends allow you to go for drops you can use, and if no-one can use them it’s whoever killed the enemy/opened the chest that dropped the loot that gets to keep it.
“Currently loot drops for all. Crate could potentially add a group loot distribution system. Each person would only see loot dropped for them and if they don’t bother to pick it up, no one gets it. Basically it would be as though you were playing single player. If it can’t get in for release, this is something they could most likely add in a patch or expansion.”
It will be free for all for now with the chance of separate loot later on.
Did i just read free for all in context to dropped loot? Heck what?
This was one of the reasons why i avoided POE for a very long time until they made it “optional”.
Friends are not 24/7 online and multiplayer makes a huge part of the gameplay for me but FFA is at least for me an absolute dealbreaker :undecided:
If you continued to read it would explain that Crate will hope to eventually allow an option for separate drops so it’s like singleplayer but with other people.
remains the same sadly :undecided:
Rock band was awesome.
