Grim Dawn Box - want to get a Christmas gift for a close relative

Greetings!

I like to plan ahead, and Christmas will soon come, so I want to know in time what I want to get for family and relatives.

I was thinking of getting Grim Dawn for a close relative of mine, a video-game enthusiast, who used to play Diablo 2 quite a lot (and I don’t want to get Diablo 3, that game is somewhat a let down compared to Diablo 2).

So, is there any chance that Crate will be making Box sets for the game? Maybe the new expansion will be released before Christmas with a special Box set. Would be lovely.

Ehhh, I know I am dreaming right now. :slight_smile:

Boxed versions of the game I only know of are from the Kickstarter for the base game.

Maybe sometime in the future though for myself I wouldn’t put too much hope in such a possibility.

Have you thought about rolling your own?

It’s about jewel cases but better than nothing, and the effort is reasonable.

Buy it from the website here, Steam or GOG and gift it to your friend at Christmas. I think that’s the only way you could do it. As DeMasked said boxed sets were part of some of the items in the tiers in the Kickstarter, but that’s all. We have the new rogue-like area to come first so I can’t see the expansion being ready for Christmas. Nice thought though, isn’t it.
