Grim Dawn Version 1.1.8.0

Thanks, but if you give Slathsarrs Creast % Aether damage (with smart loot filter) will be better.
Also I hope you will add +2 to Distotion to Faraths Cube.

Depending on which character I’m playing, 50% of Boris’ new buddies can kiss may ass.

Yep, +1, otherwise mines are the worst RR in the game… again
TSS was already adjusted, so Iskandra Sorc lost a big time in killing bosses as well Infernal Shieldbreaker that was adjusted multiple times too

“Areas previously inaccessible can now be explored”

These area’s can be anywhere. At least can we get a hint or something without having to check the forums for spoilers, which I never like to do. The world is so enormous at this point there can be a tiny path or bridge literally around every corner. And unless I’m full clearing maps which at this point I don’t feel like doing after many many playthroughs a couple hints would be nice.

I would say just put an NPC dialogue “hey I’ve heard there’s some trouble nearby ect…” in a town or camp in the general region of the inaccessible area for a hint. Thanks.

Okay boss I know you want us to make more meme builds, but the fact that there are no items support physical RE (both % dmg and + skill points).
Also can you add some ms to these slippers

I take my comment on the hint for locations on new zones back. Its fun to search.

Just as a followup:

The new areas are nice. I think there’s one or two I still haven’t found yet but my favorite so far is the corrupted tomb by the Broken Hills waypoint. It’s a fairly simple layout but something about the aesthetic appeals to me and the lore note is really well done.

That augment change, for being basically a one-liner in the patch notes, might be one of the biggest steps the game has ever taken for better build diversity. No longer do you have to hope that your legendary/set items happen to have the resistances you need to stay alive, if you get a decent rare or (which incidentally is also easier than it used to be) you can shore up the most glaring weaknesses.

Regeneration got some neat buffs. Probably not something you usually want to build around but Warders at least have some interesting options now.

OA/DA changes on Trickster skills still own. They own so very much. That is all.

These changes reduce the reaper’s OA.

Equipment has also been weakened.

Devotion have also been weakened.

He’s very slow.128 cast speed,119 attack speed.Soulrend has no speed bonus.I would like to add it to the next version.

LA is just too good, a sub skill gives global buff %dmg, huge flat dmg, and OA. Nerf is preditable. However, the OA buff in PB is quite lesser (a Reaper build now only has ~2850 OA, would be nice if NB gears get some love, for example Soulrend : + 100 OA, Dunefiend set +40 OA/DA…

This build on average only has 2850 OA / 2k7 DA.

Wouldn’t it be better to have a 50% Chaos & 50% Pierce converted to cold, instead of the physical damage conversion? I find that often, a double conversion is more useful than a speed boost.

Of course,I also want him to get physical resist.like Shar’Zul’s Worldeater.

Yes,You’re right.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed but it seems Vindictive Flame has FX changes now? Either that or I’m going blind as I swear my pulses were the normal orange last patch but every one is red (or blue depending on the order I equip items) now.

On ones that didn’t take up the helmet slot, I also had Gaze of Empyrion equipped for the larger range.

Like Titan Quest makes use of mastery shrines to boost pet skills, this helped mitigate way higher skill point demands for pet builds in Grim Dawn and still give your character a little attention. Now you have refocus all skills on your character which breaks pet usage. Please reconsider.

Just wanted to say thank you Crate for your continuous support. =) Awesome patch.

I was leveling an Avenger Warder, now with all the great regen buffs he’s up to 11k+ regen, 150k+ sheet with buffs and 3k + oa/da. I’m curious to see how high I can take him.

Some people were complaining about this trick being a thing IIRC.

Why should pet builds get special treatment in the skill point investment department when there are other builds that also suffer from skill point shortage? Seem pretty unfair for a build type to abuse a system that allows them to get more out of skill point investment than other builds types.

This was fixed because it was unintentional.

LA has been around since the beginning though. When was the last time it got buffed OR nerfed? Never? I’m not saying that it wasn’t OP, just that a nerf was hardly predictable for it.
