Btw i think Shar’Zul’s weapon is broken. It says +2 Demo and +1 Soldier. That doesn’t seem right, shouldn’t it be +1 Demo & Soldier?
This is the first time i’m not liking several nerfs.
It seems this update is hellbent on making Bleed builds worse. Removal of Bleeding resist reduction on Vileblood Mantle and lowering the resist reduction of Rend.
Now Circle of Slaughter and Flashbang have near identical fumble chance but yet one has a higher cooldown the other by 2 and half seconds.
And Acid Spray starts to gets nerfed. Yay.
Removal of poison/acid resist reduction from Nidalla Legwraps. Welp, my DW WH just got worse.
But holy shit, Sharzul legendary weapon kicks ass. Welp, Infernal Brimstone just got useless and i’m fine with that.
Why no casting speed or attack speed on that scythe?

The rings are unusable because of the resists as are the blue ones, hopefully set bonus covers for that :eek:

The sets bonus of Alkamos legendary ring set better be good because the rings way too similar to the level 65 version. I’d argue is worse than the 65 version due to less +1 to Execution and Whirling Death.

Auras granted by Components have been converted to self buffs. This was done in response to the rare issues reported in regards to those auras killing players in Multiplayer (particularly in Hardcore mode). While this is not an ideal solution, unfortunately this issue has eluded us for too long to the detriment of the players. Our programmers had spent extensive periods of time digging in the code without any repro to lead them to the probable cause (despite the community trying to contribute as much info as possible), and though we had made changes as recently as 1.0.0.7 with the hope of addressing the issue, it has persisted. As this change is detrimental to pet builds, these skills now also give pet bonuses. Should this bug persist with other auras granted by items, we will take similar action on them in a future update.
As someone that’s always loved auras and aura-based builds, and has never had this problem, nor have ever played on Hardcore nor plan to, this is utter and complete bullshit. This has nothing to do with pet builds, either, so the “fix” here is useless.
I honestly will not play until this is fixed, nor get the expansions/DLC:s unless I hear it’s fixed. What an utterly retarded way to “fix” something. There’s a minor issue for a minority of people? Let’s make the game worse for everyone.

Yeah, imo this is not a good change.
Seems fair to me. There are some items that give +1 to two masteries and if you dual wield two of them, you’ll get +2 to two masteries.
It is great that this serious issue has never impacted you, but ask any hardcore player who has lost their character to a bug how that made them feel.
It was not a decision made lightly. Sorry that it affects your enjoyment of the game in such a negative way, but it had to be done for the general good of the playerbase.
