Yeah, salty about this too. It’s only hardcore freaks who suffered from this bug, and they are a minority compared to people who play aura builds in multiplayer. No reason to cater to these masochists over perfectly normal friendly ppl.

First patch with big nerfs. I salty about this one. I didn’t notice nerfs in previous patches, i noticed more buffs previous patches

Where it says ADCTH was nerfed? Can’t seem to find it.
Oh, the nerfs to the skills from Haunted Steel and Hollowed Fang. I never even used these skills so i don’t care.
Also, removal of ADCTH from that node of Unkwon Soldier. Eh. Also, from Berserker too.

As someone who play HC only and want play with my friend without afraiding of killing each other because of bug, that still not detected clearly.
You never understand how it’s bad to lose a character not because of your bad play. No one of softplayers can.
How many players play aura-pet-builds? Not much. I can guess that less than playing on HC. So why do you think that you are much important? Because it’s you and you dont care of other players?
I’ve noticed a lot of people complaining about nerfs, but is content REALLY that difficult for veterans of this game that have optimized builds in BiS gear? I’ve seen builds from JoV where he talks about face-tanking ultimate Fabius for minutes on end with no issues, or his BWC build that just trashes everything. Yes it will be more challenging for certain builds to clear all the content, but that raises the question of whether or not things like Ultimate Nemesis bosses should ever be expected to be handled “comfortably”.
Consider yourself lucky then, I have had this happen to me a few times, getting one shot by a friendly aura is hardly what I would call minor.

Chausses of Barbaros proc doesn’t suck anymore. Main reason it sucked was the high as hell cooldown it had (60 secs).
Valdun’s Rifle now gives 20% Chaos resist. Awesome, means i can move some stuff around and get better damage and OA.
But i’m honestly really hyped for Sharzul legendary weapon. That things looks so awesome for my Fire Strike 2H Commando. Plus the awesome name makes it better.
There is a lot possibilities to do in this game. And if ultimate difficulty will be too “ultimate” then it will reduce those possibilities significantly. Yes, I know only small percentage of players reach the ultimate difficulty, but still, it will be unfortunate to overkill it. It is just my opinion…

Sweeping nerfs tend to hit the weaker characters the most. E.g. if there are 10 builds who could curbstomp Fabius on ultimate and 100 that just can kill him without dying then the nerf has a high chance of making it so that these 10 builds will still curbstomp Fabius, just not as fast, but the 100 builds from before won’t be able to kill Fabius anymore. Idk, maybe 10 builds is just enough for you, but more people will disagree with you than support you on this.
It’s the same with veterans vs beginners, beginners might suffer from nerfs more than veterans, because well, veterans already got their gear, but the way they did may now be closed for beginners.
yes, but changing the ‘shape’ of the builds that can reach it is fine. This is not about making it harder for everyone but about making it about equally challenging for a wider group of builds.
Of course, reshaping is just fine. I did it many, many times. And I am perfectly aware that balancing is really very hard task.
i had it happen in the crucible on softcore too. very annoying by the chunks of health that i kept losing every second. would not want too see that happen on any of my hardcore characters.
So a minor issue affecting a minority of players is enough to make the game worse for everyone? Shit like this is what betas and early access is for. Having things like this done long after a game has been released is insane, akin to removing a whole Mastery because you feel it wasn’t working well for some people, and instead of working to see it fixed, let’s just cut it.

I really don’t see the sarcasm in that. That is, honestly, precisely the issue. Only hardcore-players suffer from this, and only when playing with random people that are unaware of the bug. To the vast majority of players, this is an absolute non-issue, a minor annoyance at best, and throwing the baby out with the bathwater is insane.

-I get HC are a minority (i am a SC player) but they still are someone who support this game.
