But wait, there’s more! Ultimate power awaits those brave enough to tackle the Forgotten Gods shattering new game mode. Survive its treacherous challenges and be rewarded with Legendary blueprints for the most powerful Runes in the game.
will we need lower tier runes to be able to craft the legendary versions?
FG just keeps getting better and better. Honestly.
Comments:
How does one physically attach a rune to a medal? Is it inscribed? Is it like a sticker that you attach to the medal? Or a sort of cap?
A river canyon with rock walls that have a vertically ridged texture is totally unrealistic. The rock walls would have been horizontally smoothed out due to erosion from the river. There seems to be a problem with vertical stratification (differences in rock composition along the vertical dimension) in FG in general. With the exception of the upper parts of the buttes in Monument Valley, vertical stratification features prominently throughout the Colorado Plateau. I understand it’s very challenging to model vertical stratification in Grim Dawn, but for some reason it’s important to me.
That’s pretty awesome I must say. Will make farming so much quicker and efficient :D. Can’t wait to see what else you guys have in store for us in the new expac! Keep up the great work!
Oh lordy, this is a big upgrade for me. Always loved the zoom zooms.
For those of you a little more familiar with Grim Dawn’s engine, this is a pretty big deal; but yes, Forgotten Gods is introducing a legitimate Teleport skill that respects dynamic barriers, dynamite barricades and the pathing system.
Didn’t shapeshifting have a similar engine based issue? Something about “killing and respawning” a character not being possible. I could be talking out of my ass, but I feel like that was why it was never possible for modded classes.
In no way asking due to my love of a certain ARPG shape shifting class.
The problem with shapeshifting is how the transformation fits with other classes. Imagine shapeshifting into a wolf with the “shapeshifter” class but your other class is Inquisitor. Using Flames of Ignaffar as a wolf would just look dumb (well, fire breathing wolf is kind of awesome, but you get my point). Shapeshifting just doesn’t pair well with a dual class system.
Sure about that? I can’t check Grim Tools right now on mobile (doesn’t display) but I could have sworn they changed it long ago to work with pistols (due to complaints) etc.
