Grim Misadventure #186 - Howling Fenris

Agree, or something like some of the cannibal-style cowls, but wolf instead of skull.

I definitely calling my next Berserker class character, Kraven. :scorv:

Please have a pack of 5 summonable wolves for pet players to use this mastery. I really need some new toys to play with

As much as I love to see that, I saw one post on steam forums iirc, that this mastery isn’t intended for pets, but rather solo.

If it’s from Zantai, that’s unfortunate. If it’s from not-Zantai, then we’ll see. There’s also items that can change up pets. I’ve already seen that one amulet that makes the Reaped Spirits into player-scaled pets. Maybe there’ll be more things like that. A ring that turns Guardians into pet-scaled pets would be cool.

Set with support for Raven form and Storm raven - or riot.

but they will add more skill’s modifiers of other classes too right ? i mean for the set howling fenris

Fenris set, being a 5pc set, is likely only to receive bonuses to Berzerker. Each class has its own 5pc set, such as Markovian, Deathguard, or Ultos, which only supports that class.

hmm im just gonna wait to see the other sets that are coming

This is one of 14 new sets. There very well could be a bleeding set for Berserker too.

That’s exactly it, it’s a set, not a full-fledged career line.

ā€œAUF setā€ XD XD XD

Why ! I don’t understand what the Berserk bus is to turn into a Werewolf, normally a berserker doesn’t turn into a wolf?!

wasn’t Berserker supposed to be bleed, cold, chaos oriented?

Onslaught teaser atleast seems to suggest so too

making a guess, this is a shapeshifting set, iirc devs said we can’t use stuff like weapon attacks? or certain/all skills in shapeshift mode(i might remember wrong), which can/could be impactful for bleed builds/with bleed mechanics (ie they’d have to directly centre one of the shapeshift skills fully around bleed/shapeshift form having it’s own line of bleed skills in form)
And, since we’ve only been teased a set, and 3? skills, it’s probably by far the full lineup of Berserker, so if it is indeed a bleed oriented mastery (like i feel i recall them saying?); perhaps more is just to be revealed later?/we don’t get everything teased at once

idono, or perhaps Zantai can confirm/deny already if i’m wrong and it’s just another instance of swiss cheese memeory

It was from Zantai actually, based on the comment towards replying back a question about whether or not there would be new pets linked here:

ā€œThe Berserker mastery is not a pet mastery, but you can expect new pet options from the new equipment.ā€

I do agree with your ideas about pet related items, though if that ring turns guardians into pets, would they benefit from both player and pet bonuses remains the question

Oh, this translator! Unfortunately, I didn’t understand half of it. I’ll hope that Berserker will be a REAL Berserker, arranging a bloodbath on the battlefield. To whom they will dedicate at least several full branches of bleeding skills. And I hope that they will finally combine pierce and bleeding into one whole (AS IT SHOULD BE!) But… it doesn’t hurt to dream. If there will be another Nightblade… well… it’s a pity.

That’s a shame seeing no pets from Zantai. Oh well.

The ring doesn’t exist, but if it did it would turn them into pet-pets, so they wouldn’t get bonuses from player stats anymore.

Generally cool, and the bonuses are pretty swank.
My only nitpick is the antlered helm - there’s already loads of those for shaman and such, and I’d prefer a different beasty on my head.
I mean, I know transm-err, illusions are available, but moar hat variety isn’t a bad thing.

I don’t normally like transformation type classes in games but trust grim dawn to make it look fun ^^ I love the idea of gaining max move speed while transformed.

increased max attack speed :smiling_imp:
