Guardians of Empyrion and Devotion skills

I was wondering whether the Guardians of Empyrion can trigger offensive Devotion skills using their aura, or if only their autoattacks work. If their 4 meter AoE aura can trigger devotions, it seems like that would be the most effective way to proc something like Rumor, since every nearby enemy would get hit and hopefully one of them would trigger the devotion, at which point it would spread on its own.

I’m trying to make an Acid Dervish and wasn’t sure where I should bind Rumor and Acid Spray from the Manticore devotion.

Could you provide a grim tool link to your character so that we can see what skills and devotions you have?

Their aura can not trigger devotion skills, only their normal attack.

I can confirm their auras do not trigger devotion procs attached to them.

Thanks for the heads up everyone! I’m thinking of making a Dervish based around the Korvan Dunefiend set…waffling between EoR as in Acid EoR Dervish or something based around Shadow Strike.

I’m guessing you can’t do both!

So does this mean that the Deathstalker pet aura will also not proc devotion then?

Yes, it will not proc devotions with its aura. Only its melee attacks will proc devotions.
