Back in the day I use to haul around CRT monitors, computer towers, mice, keyboards, speakers, network equipment- just to play D1 and D2 with a friend.
Later in life (all grown up), I bought desks, chairs, computers, and setup multiple stations to play TQ-IT with friends at my house in FL.
I then ventured to a game called Torchlight 2 and had a blast, solo.
Then D3 came.
From loading up the Chevy El Camino with computers, to setting up networks and playing D1/D2 multiplayer, to building desks and setting up computers to play TQ with friends, to going solo in TL2, to getting frustrated in D3 with a Wizard in Inferno, to making a Shield Barbarian and hacking Diablo for 45 minutes in response to a fallen Wizard, to defeating Inferno, to the removal of the AH, to Loot 2.0 failures and the power creeps making things so painful-to now, I have found GD and my journey will go on.
