Hi,

I have an i7-3770 CPU and an old crappy card. I am trying to decide between an RX 480 and GTX 1070. Huge price difference.

Primary gaming is GD though I will be getting Civ6 and the latest Doom when Steam sales allow.

Does anyone have any advice as to which card may make sense? Highly subjective I know but I’d love to hear the opinion of anyone who may have a similar CPU.

For the record I am currently on Radeon HD7700 and it does struggle at times… while making an awful lot of noise.

hmm okay but what is your budget my friend can you reply ???

The GTX 1070 is far superior, thus the price difference, but you’ll get a great gaming experience with the RX 480 for sure. So if your budget is limited go for the second one.
