Having Trouble Loading Old Save Files

I decided to start a new run and it is working fine, but I wanted to load a few of my older files just to revisit my old city layouts, but I am having trouble loading some of them (my older v0.9.x files load but my v0.8.x files don’t). When I attempt to load them, the loading bar gets stuck towards the end. I can hear the town working (I can hear rain, chopping, merchant arriving, etc.), but the files don’t finish loading. I would be grateful if someone was able to help me. I like opening my older files and comparing all my prior cities.

It is possible I had mods on at one time, but I don’t think I was using mods on all of these.
When I look at logs after attempting to load these files I see this message, not sure if its relevant.

[WARNING] Internal: JobTempAlloc has allocations that are more than the maximum lifespan of 4 frames old - this is not allowed and likely a leak
[WARNING] To Debug, run app with -diag-job-temp-memory-leak-validation cmd line argument. This will output the callstacks of the leaked allocations.

The link above should allow downloading of the old files giving me issues.

Those are quite old (v0.8.3 was over 1.5 years ago) and the game has changed considerably since then.

It is likely that they are throwing a catastrophic error that prevents loading them in the current version.
