Np, I don’t think there’s some hard rule (except Dammit’s parser to get a build into his Grim Dawn Builds) but a few sentences and some Grim Tools links at least would be common forum courtesy imo. I personally don’t expect much more that because I know how time consuming it can be. You know, just a sign you’re a real person not AI 
If you’d like you can try to get your builds in 🔰 Beginner Build Compendium - 105 guides for AoM & FG expansions which I manage. Having some progression there in the form of GT snapshots and some text is what I look at nowadays to differentiate between guides and Beginner Level 100 GTs.
I see mods on Reddit don’t care anymore, in the past this might have been self promotion / too little native input etc, this might have misguided you as well.
