Hello all

I’ve been reading the forum for the last few days and noticed it’s a fairly small community with a good attitude, one that I think I’d like to be a part of. I’ve also noticed the devs are well involved here and I like that. It’s good to see a dev team that’s in touch with their users.

So, for proper introductions… I’m Pendaelose. Hello world.

about me:

I’m a 1st ed. AD&D fan, and long time PC gamer. I’m a modder, look me up on ModDB or Revora forums. For my day time secret identity I’m a programmer making boring logistics software for the US army. I’m prior service, Army, and have been an army contractor for about 8 years… 4 of those I spent in Iraq supporting the troops, so I’ve had lots of fun.

I’m a fan of all hack’n’slash games. I was a huge Diablo 1/2 junkie and absolutely loved TQ:IT. I think it may be the only “Diablo Clone” that I liked more than the original. I found Grim Dawn while looking for TQ mods, and picked up the epic edition without hesitation. I’m look forward to seeing what the team here has made.

I’m a forum junkie, so I’m reading every thread that catches my eye, but I’ll be sure to avoid any thread necromancy.

Welcome, that’s quite the proper introduction you got there!

Anyway, don’t feel hesitant to post because of thread necromancy, there’s no strict rules in place for that.

Welcome, you sound like you will find many like-minded people here.

BTW, what hoes this mean?

hi and welcome, yes we are a smallish community, but its pretty active and the devs do post a fair bit, keeping us informed of the latest changes, like the new look IU which is fine and other things, so anyway welcome and make yourself at home

I was a soldier. Lots of fun, big guns and artillery. I was tech support in uniform. When I got out of the army I started working as an army contractor doing the same work but with better pay. Moved up the support tree and now I develop the software I used to support.
