Just wanted to drop by and introduce myself by being one of those noobs that everyone loves so much…
I’ve been having a really good time playing GD as a break from PoE for the past two weeks or so. Have one character to play with my friends, and a ravenous earth character for my first push to late game (level 77, following nightmare’s vitality cabalist build (can’t link due to post count restriction)).
Anywho, I’m looking through the compendium, the 150-170 crucible builds, and watching videos during play but I can’t really find what I’m looking for, or, when I do find it, the builds have no information on leveling or lower gear reqs to farm for the GG gear required.
The builds I’m wanting seem to be relatively easy, would just like some guidance since I’m still trying to piece all of this information together. So, on to the build ideas!
I’d like to try something centered around the nightblade focusing on poison/acid. No idea on which skills, just that so far I do not like cadence or forcewave (only two skills I’ve found that I dislike).
The second build idea came from watching Malagant’s inquisitor to 100 series. Not that I want to focus on word of pain necessarily, but something focusing on elemental that could use the elemental balance ring set + massive ele AoE or some other massive blinding color explosion, preferably elemental.
I know these are vague, but any suggestions would be great. I just keep getting lost in the sea of high gear requirements, so even basic elemental/poison leveling builds would help.
If you come across something like this, feel free to ask in the topic what good levelling equipment would be or what the build poster used. Even if they don’t answer, others who levelled the same/similar build will be able to chip in and offer their own thoughts.

Take a look at the Build Compendium VII, specifically at Witch Hunters and you’ll likely find what you’re looking for.

Sounds like you want a proc machine for a character. You could give the Auramancer by ArchHeretic a look.
Thanks for the advice, that auramancer looks amazing! I’m not sure about using macros though, kinda makes it feel like cheating :undecided:
I’ll also go through the witch hunters more closely and be sure to ask questions if I find something interesting. Still getting the hang of this game and community but so far everyone seems nice.
On a side note, my poor level 77 cabalist just cleared 130 aspirant… One day I’ll have decent enough gear/levels to do better…
