Hello, fellow excited fans

Hi everyone

I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to this game coming out. I love TQIT and was so sad to hear that Iron Lore had gone under just when I’d found the game. To know that we’re going to see something along the same lines, but yet totally different, has me waiting with barely concealed impatience.

Now, where did I put that money for the key?

There’s no need to conceal your impatience and excitement here. The community embraces it with open arms! Welcome aboard, I’m glad you found us.

Indeed, welcome to the forums! We’re a merry bunch here.

Hi and welcome home

Thanks for the welcome, one and all. I’ve been a regular at TQ.net for some time and have visited the GD site occasionally, but only just got around to registering. TG Gold was an impulse buy for me while on holiday in America back in 2007. My games shopping list consisted of Oblivion and The Witcher and I picked TQ up as an extra because it looked interesting. Guess what, never got on with either of the other games. They’ve been taken off my computer and relegated to the shelves while TQ Gold is still going strong. If GD comes close to matching that, we’ve all got a BIG treat to look forward to.

I got to tell you without reservation that you really need to load and play The Witcher. Hands down one of the best damn rpg’s ever made and The Witcher 2 is going to kick it up a notch:

I have started both Witcher and Oblivion several times, but they just bored me in the end. The farthest I ever got with Witcher was the first city (after opening and the village you go to). I got a bit tired of not being able to transport anywhere and having to run back and forth to quest givers and merchants. Also didn’t like not being able to change the weapon I started with. Don’t get me wrong, I think it looks great and once I got the hang of the combat sequence I enjoyed that aspect of it. It’s just, for me personally, neither of them are as enjoyable as Two Worlds (which got me into RPGs in the first place) and Titan Quest.
I will probably give both another go at some point, but my computer was getting a bit full of programs so I decided to take them off instead of others that I play more regularly.
