Hello guys,
Been kind of creeping the forums and Grim Dawn on youtube since before Christmas and finally felt it was time to register and say hello. Game looks promising and the dark atmosphere is fantastic. I never played Titan Quest but I know there was a good development team behind it, which has partially moved on to create Crate.
I will be likely purchasing the Loyalist Pack because I believe in small-time operations more these days than the large AAA studios (Valve being about the only of those that I have absolute faith in anymore).
I’m a long time fan of the genre and anticipated Diablo 3 like so many, and we all know how that ended up. I’ve been playing Torchlight 2 and Path of Exile (Gold Member there) and don’t wish to make any comparisons to this game, specifically because they are similar but different in so many ways. I’m sure the comparison will be made, but not by me. Both GD/POE are new/upcomers to the genre and have their own tastes to fill in the market. Both will be great games come full release! However I’d be lying if I didn’t say my interest mostly lies in this game.
I look forward to the Alpha release and will secure a Loyalist Pack this week!
