It needed only few swings with starter club to get me hooked into GD world.
3 chars and 65 hrs of game-play hours latter, I must say that I’m really impressed with GD.
Everything there is well made: monsters diversity, great atmosphere, variety of weapons and game plays, no backpacking, ton of item combinations, and ofc nice graphics and sounds.
(All Except annoying NPC gunners)
Some time ago I’ve pledged for similar game - Legends of Dawn, but that one left me disappointed.
Immediately after (late) release I pushed myself to grind trough it, then I stopped at approx 20% of game content and decided to wait for promised patches, which were supposed to make game more enjoyable.
After final patch I tried to play it from scratch but, I gave up on it after 10% progress. It simply didn’t have that magic ingredient which drives you to play more.
So after being reluctant to start similar game, while still had leftovers of bitterness from LoD, I was more than pleasantly surprised with Grim Dawn.
Congrats to all of you, and thanks for releasing this great game.
And now go back to work and give me (us) that Act III
