Hello from Norway! =)

Thought I would start by introducing myself!
Name is Raul, 29 years of age, from the cold and beautiful frozen north (Norway, as the title suggests!).

As a long time ARPG player, and some one who has pretty much grown up with the Diablo franchize, I have of course been looking forward to the release of D3 for the past 4 long years. Daily readings and posts at incgamers.com, where I am also a PAL, and lots of anticipation, have of course summed up to huge expectations from the game, only to be shattered a few days after release.

I will not get too much into that, as I am not into game bashing, but I will say that all the huge disappointment has brought be to think again of what is it that I enjoyed so much in all those 10+ years of playing D2, and how can I find such joy in a PC game again.

Then came the suggestions of TL2 and GD, and here I am, having ordered the TL2 game, and having just finished ordering the $50 version of GD!

To be honest, I do not yet know much about the game, besides having seen the infamous Kickstarter video of the lead producer. What I saw in that video, was something that hit me in a very deep spot of my nerdy-gamers-heart. A game made BY gamers FOR gamers. Probably what Blizzard North used to be back in the day.

So while I will be now completing Both TL1 and TQ:IT, I am saying hi, and hoping to be a part of what seems like a great community here on the forums!

Hi, fellow D3 refugee
Thanks for the support!

Make yourself at home and feel free to participate in the discussions.

Velkommen, from a fellow Norwegian

Thank you very much (og takk sĂĄ mye til dere nordmenn!) for the warm welcome wishes! I will be mostly reading and learning here for a while, before I will let my opinion be heard, being a hardcore gamer-gotten old-settled down-got a family-become almost casual, and all :stuck_out_tongue:

welcome to the forums! hope to see you around!

Frozen…fredrikstad…Vel…Ikke akkurat Isøde der for å si det sånn.

Raul er vel ikke urnorsk det heller men! Velkommen skal du være!

Translation: Frozen…Fredrikstad…Not exactly a frozen waste (as fredrikstad is situated almost as far south as you get in norway…And have around 4 months of sloppy wet snow before it poofs) …Last line is basically just a phunny about his name not originating from any viking lord :stuck_out_tongue:
